SCHOTT TREATMENT’s 5th single RELEASED ON 2C2C MUSIC

Peter Schott and August Darnell have released Schott Treatment’s 5th single on 2c2cmusic.com. “Another Day Another War” is a poignant anti-war anthem, featuring the amazing vocal performance of Jo Harrop. With haunting orchestral themes and amazing lyrics, “Another Day Another War” is an epic new version of the classic Kid Creole and The Coconuts song.

Describing the song and video, Peter Schott wrote,

“War is the greatest plague that can afflict humanity, it destroys lives, it destroys states, it destroys families.

All forms of violence, especially war, are totally unacceptable as means to settle disputes between and among nations, groups and persons.

It is peace which must guide the destinies of people and of all mankind.

Civilization has arisen out of the works of peace.

Peace, not war, is the genesis of all things.”

"SCHOTT TREATMENT" RELEASED ON 2C2C MUSIC

Peter Schott and August Darnell have created a completely new genre of music, inspired by the classic soundtracks of the 1950’s and 1960’s. With haunting orchestral arrangements, existential lyrics, and tantalizing vocal performances, Schott and Darnell have produced strikingly new versions of classic Kid Creole and The Coconuts’ songs. The first single, “Being,” is a soleil-soaked journey to the South Seas, mixing classical textures with resplendent vocal performances. Schott Treatment will inspire your summer nights and warm up your autumn dreams.

The next single “Something Incomplete”, SCHOTT TREATMENT’s 3rd single on 2c2c Music, subverts the expectations of mainstream pop music with a dark, densely - layered orchestral score, written by the dynamic duo of Schott / Darnell.
Featuring Daniel Sitrit’s poignant vocal performance, Something Incomplete expresses feelings of
personal loss, surviving a breakup, and learning to live, love, and trust again.
